Where is Lake Highlands Oktoberfest located?
The First Annual Lake Highlands Oktoberfest will take place at the Lake Highlands Town Center at 9200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas 75231. It is on the southeast side of the Skillman Rd./Walnut Hill Ln. intersection.
When will Lake Highlands Oktoberfest take place?
Saturday, October 1, 2011. The festival begins at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 8:00 p.m.
What does it cost to get into Lake Highlands Oktoberfest and where do we park?
This event is FREE to the public. There will be parking onsite for $5.00. We encourage everyone to walk, ride a bike, ride the DART or take a taxi to and from the festival.
Can I bring my pet or outside food/drink to Lake Highlands Oktoberfest?
No. Only service animals will be allowed on the grounds. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
Can I bring a blanket or lawn chair to Lake Highlands Oktoberfest?
Yes. Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair to relax while enjoying a cold beverage and watching the entertainment.
How do we purchase food, beer and other items at Lake Highlands Oktoberfest?
Vendors will only accept tickets sold at the Lake Highlands Oktoberfest tickets stands. 1 ticket = $1. You can purchase tickets with cash or credit card (note only one ticket stand will have a credit card machine). An ATM machine will be onsite. T-Hee Greetings is the only vendor who will accept cash or credit card.
Are official Lake Highlands Oktoberfest t-shirts or steins available for purchase?
Yes, these items will be sold at the festival for ten tickets ($10.00).
What is the Lake Highlands Oktoberfest Samuel Adam’s Biergarten?
For only $50, you will be provided (from the ticket stand) a special bracelet to access the Samuel Adam’s Biergarten. This area will be near the amphitheater, surrounded by a white picket fence. The bracelet entitles you to one official Lake Highlands Oktoberfest t-shirt and stein, private seating area, access to televisions for those college football fans, private access to beer/wine and great food smoked in the famous Herb’s Paint and Body Smoker.
Who are the Lake Highlands Oktoberfest restaurant vendors?
Kuby’s Sausage House; The Grape; Urban Crust; Eat the World; Fat Daddy’s; and Enchilada’s.
Is this a kid-friendly event?
YES! The Lake Highlands Oktoberfest has a special Kid Zone. For 5 tickets (2yrs and under free), your child can enter the Kid Zone with unlimited access to all sorts of fun games and activities all day long.
