Skyview Elementary School Update

The Skyview Hatchlings Holiday Art activity with Skyview's Art teacher, Ms. Diana Staley is on December 18th at 5:30 in the Skyview art room. She is really looking forward to meeting you and your little ones and doing a fun activity with them. It will be immediately followed by a holiday sing along in the cafeteria for all PK-2 students at 6:00.

Also, the Skyview Holiday Store opens Monday, December 10th!! During the last couple of weeks before the winter break Skyview opens a holiday store. Toys are donated to Skyview through the generosity of the Forest Meadows and Town Creek neighborhoods as well as a Beta club from another RISD school. Students are issued a golden ticket for exhibiting great behavior and work habits. Students may come "shop" in the holiday store and redeem their golden ticket for their item. Items range from toys, puzzles, teddy bears, dolls, cars to jewelry, small appliances, hats, gloves and lots of other things. Students may choose a toy for themselves or a loved one. Parent volunteers provide store coverage and even wrap gifts for the students. It really is a nice incentive and motivates our students to do their very best. Here is a picture of the store!
